Toyota Camry (XV70): Control Module Communication Bus "B" Off Bus Off (U007488,...,U015187)

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) communicates with the following ECUs and sensors via CAN communication.

  • ECM
  • TCM (ECM)
  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly)
  • Steering angle sensor
  • Power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly)
  • Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
  • Airbag sensor assembly

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Operate the Techstream to clear the codes. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Trouble Codes.

Chassis > Brake > Clear DTCs

(e) Press the DTC clear button.

(f) Turn the ignition switch off.

(g) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(h) Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

(i) Check for DTCs.

Proceed to

DTCs for related systems are output together with DTC U007488, U010087, U010187, U012587, U012687, U013187, U014087 or U015187.
