Toyota Camry (XV70): Customize Parameters

CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

CUSTOMIZE BLIND SPOT MONITOR SYSTEM

(a) Customizing with the Techstream

NOTICE:

  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(2) Turn the engine switch to ON.

(3) Turn the blind spot monitor system on.

(4) Turn the Techstream on.

(5) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Blind Spot Monitor Master or Blind Spot Monitor Slave / Utility / Warning.

(6) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

BSM Approaching Vehicle Detection Timing Setting

Sets the notification timing for vehicles approaching from behind the vehicle.

00:Only Blind Spot,01:Late,10:Middle,11:Early

  • *: If the RCTA function is turned off, the RCTAB function of the parking support brake system also turns off.

(b) Customizing with multi-information display (for 7 Inch Display Model)

NOTICE:

  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

(1) Turn the engine switch to ON.

(2) Turn the blind spot monitor system on.

(3) Enter the following menus: Setting icon / BSM or RCTA.

(4) Select the setting by referring to the table below.
