Toyota Camry (XV70): Destination Information Undefined (C1AB8)

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when correct destination information is not sent from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and destination information cannot be confirmed after a blind spot monitor sensor has been replaced.

  • When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor system is turned on.
  • Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Registration.

CHECK DTC

(a) Check for CAN communication system DTCs.

OK:

CAN communication system DTCs are not output.

NG

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

OK

2.

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

(a) Replace the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with a new or known good one.

RECHECK DTC

(a) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

    REMOVAL PROCEDURE 1. REMOVE UNION TO CHECK VALVE HOSE (for A25A-FKS) (a) Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the brake booster assembly. (b) Slide the clip and disconnect the union to check valve hose from the No. 1 vacuum hose connector.

     Steering wheel

    Adjustment procedure 1. Hold the steering wheel and push the lever down. 2. Adjust to the ideal position by moving the steering wheel horizontally and vertically. After adjustment, pull the lever up to secure the steering wheel. Horn To sound the horn, press on or close to the mark.
