(a) Interview the customer and confirm the problem.

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard Voltage:

11 to 14 V

  • If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.

CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA*

(a) Check and record DTCs and freeze frame data.

Chassis > Brake > Trouble Codes

(b) Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.

Chassis > Brake > Clear DTCs

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

(1) Reconfirm the DTCs based on the recorded DTCs and freeze frame data.

Chassis > Brake > Trouble Codes

(2) Try to reproduce the problem symptoms based on the recorded DTCs and freeze frame data, and then check if the DTCs are output again.

  • Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart if any DTCs are output.
