Stereo Component Amplifier Malfunction

When any of the following conditions is met:

  • Internal power supply malfunction
  • DSP error
  • EEPROM error

Stereo component amplifier assembly

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs

(b) Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

OK:

No DTCs are output.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK

REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

    READ NEXT:

    ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE 1. INSPECT AND ADJUST BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT (a) Remove the front door scuff plate LH. Click here (b) Remove the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH. Click here (c) Remove the No. 1 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly. Click here (d) Remove the accelerator pedal pad.
