VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY

NOTICE:

Make sure to record any output Vehicle Control History codes before clearing them and checking the Vehicle Control History again.

CHECK VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY

NOTICE:

Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Safety Connect System.

Click here CELLULAR COMMUNICATION > SAFETY CONNECT SYSTEM > PRECAUTION

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Utility / Vehicle Control History (RoB).

Life Cycle of DCM Backup Battery

When the system detects that the BUB (Back-Up Battery) has reached the end of its lifespan.

  • The manual (SOS) switch red indicator illuminates
  • Replace BUB (Back-Up Battery)

NOTICE:

  • After replacing the BUB (Back-Up Battery), perform initialization.

  • After performing work, perform "CLEAR VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY" to turn off the manual (SOS) switch red indicator.

CLEAR VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY

NOTICE:

By performing this procedure, all stored Vehicle Control History will be cleared.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Utility / Vehicle Control History (RoB) (Clear).

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, clear the Vehicle Control History (RoB).
